My father was a Pathfinder navigator in WWII in Bomber Command and was towing gliders on D-1 for the 6th Airborne Division and then resupplying the landings from the air. By the end of the war he had completed 73 sorties and was lucky to survive. And it has been my privilege to the 'Pedalling Padre' on eight H4H Battlefield Bike Rides 2010-2017.
