Remembering my grandad on this momentous anniversary, he was part of the RAMC and helped those who were injured fighting on the Normandy beaches and else where in the war. There were so many horrendous sights seen that took him a very long time to talk about, and even then it was a struggle, his family will forever be proud of what he did during the war. We will remember them all
